In 1979, Byrd established Eagle Entertainment, which is now known as Eagle Entertainment International (E.E.I. Records). In the early days of Eagle Entertainment, you could find Byrd promoting shows, booking bands in night clubs, managing other musicians, teaching potentially new bass players, and gathering knowledge for his ultimate quest, E.E.I. Records and Lion's Den Recording Studio.
